From 24–25 January 2026, the Church of St Francis of Assisi, Cheras came alive with voices, learning, and joy as the Archdiocesan Liturgy Commission together with the Chinese, Tamil, and Bahasa Malaysia Language Apostolate Committees organised a 2-day Sacred Music programme.
The gathering brought over 600++ choir members from 20 choirs across the district. Kristus Aman was joyfully represented by 35 parish members, the choir group and musicians, led by our charismatic choir leader, Eugene Joseph.
Over two enriching days, we rediscovered the beauty and rich heritage of sacred music and its important role in the liturgy. Beyond learning how to sing better and more meaningfully, we experienced growth in unity, formation, and ministry — truly singing and serving with “one voice in harmony” to glorify God.
There was plenty of joyful singing, laughter, deeper understanding, and strengthened bonding and friendships. We returned inspired and renewed, with a heartfelt hope to bring this joy back to our parish.
