Sacristan

The Sacristan is the dedicated custodian of the sacristy and the sacred items used during Catholic worship. Working closely with the parish priest, the Sacristan prepares the altar, sacred vessels, bread, wine, and liturgical books prior to each Mass, and ensures everything is properly cleaned and secured afterward. Through this faithful, individual service, the Sacristan helps maintain a reverent and prayerful environment for the whole parish community.
