In keeping with the Advent season, 31 beautiful ladies dressed in different shades of purple graced the yearly Advent prayers and fellowship held by the Women’s Desk of Kristus Aman and some members from Jesus Caritas.
To put us all in a reflective mood, Kristen Chee began the prayers with a solo rendition of the song : “Before All things” an original composition by Michael Biggs based on the scripture passage from 1 John : 1-16.
The Word was read from Isaiah 40:1-5 and the ladies shared with each other what spiritual gifts they desired for themselves, family and friends.
A video song on “Christmas isn’t Christmas “ was prayerfully listened to and followed by prayer of intercessions.
Prayer session ended with the song “ O Come, O come Emmanuel and “When a child is born”.
Tea was then served and the fellowship began with an Advent quiz on Christmas Carols , Word scramble and Song Rhapsody. All the ladies participated enthusiastically and the lucky winners were given small gifts of appreciation.
Thanks to the awesome and dedicated team who always serve with such loving kindness and consistency to bring the joy of the Lord into the hearts of all the ladies.
