KA Mass Attendance Schedule, April - June 2021

 Mass Attendance Schedule Q2 2021

 Declaration Form (Child)

Declaration Form (Senior)

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,

It is with great excitement and heart-felt joy that we wish to welcome you back to the Chapel of Kristus Aman in the following weeks in our run up to Holy Week.

As much as we would like to see all of you return in person to physically worship in the chapel in the coming weeks, we wish to do this cautiously and safely in compliance with the SOP issued by the government and the pastoral guidelines issued by the Archdiocese. As you are aware, this pandemic has not been eradicated and all of us are still at risk. Special attention must be given to our seniors who are at a higher risk. Although there is no general prohibition for seniors to attend Mass, the SOP discourages seniors who are 60 years and above from attending public gatherings. In the event a senior makes an informed choice to come for Mass, please discuss the same with your family members before doing so. We would also require seniors to sign a disclaimer form (once only) to indicate your willingness to assume the risks.

Due to the SOP requirements, our seating capacity is limited to a maximum of 200 seats per Mass. For this reason, we will be placing all persons intending to attend Mass into two groups and each group will be assigned one of the two weekend Masses (Saturday sunset or Sunday morning). Due to the unwieldy job of pre-registration, we apologise for not being able to accommodate personal requests for preferred Mass times. We beg your indulgence and cooperation to follow the assigned Mass times for this initial period as we attempt to accommodate everyone who wishes to return in person for Mass.

Here are some important points to note:

1. Group 1 and 2 will take turns to be assigned the Saturday sunset Mass (5.30 pm) and Sunday morning Mass (9.00 am). See schedule above.

2. Seating will be on a first-come first-served basis.

3. The registration desk will not hold your seat beyond 20 minutes before the start of each Mass. Remainder of available seats will be opened during this time. So, please come early if you wish to secure a seat.

4. Opening Hours for Check-in:

SATURDAY Sunset Mass:
4.30 pm: Counters Open for pre-registered Group (For One-Time pre-registration, check with your BEC coordinators)
5.10 pm: Open to Walk-ins
5.20 pm: Counters Close

SUNDAY Morning Mass:
8.00 am: Counters Open for pre-registered Group (For One-Time pre-registration, check with your BEC coordinators)
8.40 am: Open to Walk-ins
8.50 am: Counters Close

As you can see, with additional space and Masses to accommodate the returning numbers, we would require more volunteers as ushers and ministers of hospitality, registration and cleaning. If you are healthy and abled bodied, please volunteer by submitting your names through your BEC Coordinator.

As you return to the Chapel in the coming weeks, may the words of the Psalmist ring true for you: “Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name.” (Psalm 100:4)

See you soon!

Your loving shepherds,

Fr Michael Chua and Fr Dominic Tan
